Gramaze is a caregiving-focused digital platform built to support families and care providers in coordinating home-care services. The platform operates within a highly sensitive and trust-driven environment, where users are often making emotionally significant and time-critical decisions.

The focus of this project was to design a clear, reliable, and user-friendly digital experience that aligns with Gramaze’s existing brand, while ensuring the platform communicates care services effectively and supports everyday caregiving workflows.

Context and Objective

Home-care delivery requires coordination, clarity, and trust. Families need to understand available services quickly, caregivers need structured systems to engage with clients, and care providers need reliable tools to manage interactions and appointments.

The objective of this project was to:

  • Translate Gramaze’s existing brand into a functional digital product
  • Create a calm, intuitive experience suitable for emotionally sensitive users
  • Support coordinated home-care delivery through clear flows and structured interactions

Working Within an Existing Brand

Rather than redefining Gramaze’s brand, the work focused on applying and strengthening the existing brand identity within the product experience.

Care was taken to:

  • Preserve the established tone, values, and visual direction
  • Advise on areas where clarity, consistency, or usability could be improved
  • Ensure the brand felt consistent across the website and web app

Visual decisions such as layout, spacing, typography, and color usage were guided by accessibility, readability, and emotional comfort, while remaining aligned with the existing brand language.

Copy and interface messaging were reviewed and guided to remain supportive, human-centered, and easy to understand, without altering the brand’s core voice.

Designing for Clarity and Coordination

In a caregiving environment, usability is critical. Users need to complete tasks without confusion, friction, or unnecessary cognitive load.

The platform was designed with:

  • Clear information architecture to help users understand available services
  • Intuitive navigation to support smooth progression through key tasks
  • Predictable interface patterns to reduce uncertainty and build confidence

Key flows, such as onboarding and service selection, were structured to feel calm and guided, helping users move forward without feeling overwhelmed.

Supporting a Sensitive User Experience

Because caregiving involves emotional and personal contexts, the interface prioritises:

  • Simple, reassuring language
  • Clear visual hierarchy
  • Familiar interaction patterns

These choices help users feel supported while interacting with the platform, reinforcing trust and reliability through consistency and ease of use.

Outcome

The result is a digital platform that:

  • Supports coordinated home-care delivery through clear and structured workflows
  • Reflects Gramaze’s existing brand values in a practical, usable form
  • Provides a reliable entry point for families and caregivers seeking support

By focusing on clarity, usability, and alignment with an established brand, the platform delivers a dependable and approachable experience suited to the realities of home-care coordination.

We loved the look and feel. The team approached problems with clarity and pragmatism.
